Forge Performance Uprated Bypass / Dump Valve For Peugeot 207 / 308 GTI - FM207V. The Forge Mini Cooper S / Peugeot Turbo Uprated Bypass (Dump) Valve has been developed by Forge to replace the OEM fitted valve. The standard valve fitted to these applications can be prone to failure if the engine is tuned/uprated or used in warmer climates. In view of this, Forge have developed an all alloy valve, which contains a piston type mechanism rather than diaphragm, optimising performance and reliability.
The Forge uprated bypass valve is designed for tuned/uprated applications and has the facility to change the internals depending on the state of tune level, however the valve is still suitable and operates just as effectively on standard engines, maximising performance and reliability. The Forge bypass valve acts in the same way as the original valve, ensuring the ECU actuates as with the standard valve so there is no chance of the engine check lights illuminating.
The Forge bypass valve is supplied complete ready for easy fitting giving a professional looking installation, with a polished alloy finish complete with Forge branding.
