Forge Motorsport Recirculation Valve and Kit for BMW 135 235 F20
This Recirculation valve (quiet in operation) is for the BMW 135/235 N55 3.0 Turbo engines, as found in the F20 chassis models, that have the electronically controlled bypass valves. This product is recommended for any vehicle where the boost pressure has been increased by an ECU software upgrade and for unmodified vehicles operating in warmer climates, as a solution to the OEM valve failures that have occurred. Unfortunately the failure doesn't always result in a check engine light as the valve can still be blown open by the boost pressure, so you may not be aware that you are losing power due to this.
This prevents the diaphragm from sealing. This particular failure can also result in the valve falling apart upon removal from the turbo, and in extreme cases, bits of plastic entering the turbo, resulting in serious damage. Our alternative is a fully engineered solution offering both significantly improved reliability.Our valve is piston based, with no diaphragm to fail, and of all aluminium construction, it replaces the original unit with a pressure/vacuum operated piston valve that still also retains the desirable OEM ECU control over valve actuation. 1 x 3000mm of 4mm Vacuum Tube. 1 x 100mm of 6mm Vacuum Tube. 1 x 50mm of 6mm Vacuum Tube. 1 x Solenoid, Bracket, and Screws.

If you wish to tune this product to fit the needs of your engine, please see the spring tuning kit below. Failure to supply this proof will result in your claim or enquiry being denied. Do not use aggressive (acidic) car cleaning products, particularly traffic film remover solutions or shampoos to clean your intercooler, radiator, or oil cooler.These are often found at car washes. A light, warm, soapy solution (free of harsh acidic cleaning compounds) should be used to clean you cooler and thoroughly rinsed away. We recommend that you should inspect your product on a regular basis for bent and/or crushed fins. Any bent fins should be carefully straightened to allow ambient air to pass through the core face.
At the time of installing your Forge radiator, an approved coolant must be used and added to the coolant system. Be sure you never mix coolant and always use distilled water. If this is the case you will be contacted within 24 hours.
